HALL OF FAME
🏆 Congratulations 🏆
to all graduates of the
HOW to High School program!
We are so proud of how far you’ve come and can’t wait to hear about what you accomplish in the future!
God bless your future endeavours! Stay in touch!
AJ Roy, Gr.11
1st place, Summer 2023
AJ learned just how much more he could accomplish, and how much better, if he worked consistently rather than leaving things to the last minute. He is going to use his new study skills and time management skills to have a successful year.
“What you said about being disgusted by kids who didn’t try, made me want to try.”

Emma Jacobs, Gr.11
2nd place (61 points), Summer 2023
Originally, Emma joined Conquer School because she was struggling in math. However, after an initial assessment with Andriy, it was evident that the problems are much deeper than a simple misunderstanding of the content. Thus, Emma joined the HOW to High School program in the summer of 2023. She was extremely competitive and Conquer School’s environment only brought out the best in her. Emma did multiple extra challenges on a weekly basis which earned her a 2nd place in the cohort. Through this training, she acquired the study habits necessary to excel in math courses.
In the end, it was evident that a student’s natural ability to learn is not the determining factor of success in academics. Congratulations, Emma, we are very proud of you.

Lydia Germain
3rd place, Summer 2023
Lydia came to us with very low self-confidence, but knew she wanted to improve and that it would take hard work. She applied herself, developed great discipline, got caught up despite working a full time job, and now has so much more confidence.

Alexa Hernandez-Garcia, Gr. 10
1st place, Spring 2023
Alexa thrived in the Conquer School environment. The expectations and gaining an understanding of the real problems she was facing brought out the best in her. Now Alexa seeks out high-achieving, motivated friends—people who can keep her on her toes and continually improving. Alexa successfully learned how to navigate the education system so that she can achieve her goals.
We helped Alexa meet her summer goal of getting her first babysitting job!

Kabir Sandhu, Gr. 9
3rd place, Spring 2023
School was too easy for Kabir (last minute work easily produced good grades), so he joined the Program for a real challenge. He learned to put in his best effort regardless of the circumstances.
We created a volunteer position for Kabir to learn about graphic design and get some practical experience.

Robby Kennedy, Gr. 9
2nd place, Spring 2023
“I was getting 50s–60s on my math tests and after just 6 weeks I’m now getting 85s–90s.”
The HOW to High School program got Robbie into the right mindset, and he was able to see why he was always being nagged to work harder. Understanding the reality that life is difficult helped him make changes in his life to improve. With dedication and effort he raised his marks drastically in a matter of weeks.

Ivanka Bolshova, Gr. 10
1st place (83 points), Fall 2023
Iva joined the HOW to High School program as a challenge for herself. She came to Canada from Ukraine where school was much tougher and resembled a serious, professional environment. However, in Canada, Iva felt like school was not pushing her to reach her full potential. While working with Conquer School, Iva was by far the most disciplined, hard working and professional student that Andriy has ever encountered. It is to no surprise that she finished with a record breaking score of 83 points in the Fall 2023 cohort.
Congratulations, Iva! We look forward to seeing you grow and succeed in your future endeavors.

Ninuola Efosa Anointed Ajayi, Gr. 12
2nd place (50 points), Fall 2023
Ninuola was a pleasure to work with on the HOW to High School program! Originally, she came to Conquer School seeking to find better study techniques to increase her grades. On the 10 week mentorship program, she found out that it is not so much about the tricks and techniques but the mindset and the study habits that she developed. Over the course of the program, Ninuola was doing multiple extra challenges which consequently allowed her to apply the teachings into her life. The development of strong study habits, unshakable discipline and effective time management led to extraordinary increases in her grades.
Congratulations Ninuola on your hard work and determination!

Immanuel Olulana, Gr. 11
3rd place (45 points), Fall 2023.
Immanuel joined the HOW to High School in the fall of 2023. He was in search of an environment that would teach him discipline, hard work and prepare him for university. Immanuel’s parents knew that the education he is receiving in school is not entirely sufficient in preparing him for university. Throughout the 10 weeks of mentorship, Immanuel displayed leadership qualities by completing the most challenges out of his group.
Congratulations Immanuel, it was a pleasure working with you. Wish you the best in post-secondary education!
